Private Fes to Marrakech 3-Day Desert Tour

About this experience

This is a private tour: only your group travels in the air-conditioned vehicle. Pickup is at 8 AM from your hotel or riad in Fes, or you can meet at Hotel Batha on Avenue de la Liberte. Day one stops in Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forest and runs through Midelt and the Ziz Valley to Merzouga, where each of you gets a camel for the ride to the camp.

Sandboarding is on offer as an option. Day two goes through the Rissani market, Erfoud and the Todra Gorge to a hotel in the Dades Gorges; day three covers the Valley of Roses, Ouarzazate, Ait Ben Haddou and the High Atlas, ending at the nearest car point to your Marrakech riad.

At $572 a person it costs about $185 more than the small-group tour, and the driving is the same 1,000 km or so. What you buy is a vehicle for your group alone. Lunches, drinks and tips are extra. Rated 5.0 from 38 reviews.
